April 6th – Van and office day

Had to take the van to my friendly mechanic in Studham to sort out its MOT and some minor repairs. This Mercedes Vito crew van has been the best vehicle I’ve had so far. It cruises nicely along the motoway, can take a fair amount of gear and up to five people.

What’s more, I’ve made some minor internal modifications that allow us to sleep in it for festivals and so on. Not amazingly plush or comfortable but a handy metal tent with wheels.

The rest of the day is spent catching up with email and various office stuff. Reminds of the joke that when you start your own business you look forward to becoming your own boss but in fact you end up as your own secretary.
